a rumbling growl that comes from beneath
a fastening of buttons and the zip of a fly
a trip down the stairs to check the supply
a bowl of cereal, a breakfast cliche

ReplyDeleteYour descriptions are wonderful, but there's very little feeling/emotion in your words. Granted, I was quite amused while reading this at the sheer brilliance of its simplicity, but I had to come up with some type of criticism. :)
